The Prince and the Emperor
This is one of my earliest works as a junior in college. I remember being pulled in for an illustration job the year before and I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the conceptualization process. This is what resulted in an editorial class where we could choose whatever topic we wanted. I chose to retell the story of the Prodigal Son through the lens of my culture (see if you can spot those cultural themes!)
